European Countries Agree to Establish Common Standards for Hyperloop Systems

A new milestone in hyperloop transportation was reached when European countries banded together and agreed to create a joint technical committee (JTC) called JTC 20. As part of the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) and the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization (CENELEC), the goal of this technical committee is to define, establish, and standardise the methodology and framework to regulate hyperloop travel systems and ensure interoperability and high safety standards throughout Europe.

The lane-switching technology allows hyperloop vehicles to change from one lane to another without additional or moving components. First edition of HyperSummit focuses on urgency, collaboration and research

Various well-known organisations presented their shared vision on the future of hyperloop in Europe at the first successful edition of the HyperSummit organised by Hardt Hyperloop. This included the station of the future presented by architecture firm UNStudio. Hardt Hyperloop also shared the results of the Amsterdam-Frankfurt kick-off study and Royal Schiphol Group announced the launch of a joint research study into the feasibility and applicability of a hyperloop connection.

Deutsche Bahn, ENGIE Laborelec and Continental also contribute to hyperloop development

InnoEnergy, the European community for knowledge and innovation in sustainable energy, is investing up to five million euros in Hardt Hyperloop. Hardt is investing the funds in the consortium that has been established to realise the hyperloop in Europe. Deutsche Bahn represented by DB Engineering & Consulting, Continental and Engie Laborelec have announced today that they are joining the consortium.

Enfuro heeft samen met een groep van investeerders €1.25M geïnvesteerd in Hardt Hyperloop. Hardt is het enige Europese bedrijf dat werkt aan de hyperloop. Een revolutionair nieuw transportsysteem waarmee personen en vracht via capsules door bijna-vacuum buizen reizen met hoge snelheden van meer dan 1,000 km/uur waarbij het energieverbruik slechts een fractie is vergeleken met de huidige transportsystemen.
